Enfocus has advised of a recent issue with the PitStop Pro selection tool when using PitStop with the Adobe Acrobat (September 2023, v2023.006.20320) version on the Mac.

Problem of Enfocus PitStop Pro Mac
with latest Acrobat version solved
Recently, Enfocus had warned PitStop users on Mac about updating to the latest version of Acrobat Update September 2021, which Adobe recently released.
The Mac version of this update caused an issue for PitStop Pro: when one or more objects are selected in PitStop Pro, the selected objects and anchor points are not displayed. Enfocus has published a knowledgebase article about this.
In the meantime, Enfocus has been able to fix the problem. You have to install the latest version of PitStop Pro (2021.0.3).
A reader of PDF-AKTUELL already reported this problem with PitStop in a german comment two days before the Enfocus warning and he also reported another problem with Callas pdfToolbox.
Windows users are not affected by this problem.
Acrobat Update September 2021 with
support for the Apple M1 processor
Adobe released planned updates for Acrobat DC, Acrobat 2020 and Acrobat 2017.
There are again three separate installers:
- Acrobat 21.007.20091 for subscribers of the Document Cloud (Continuous Track)
- Acrobat 20.004.30015 for users with a perpetual license of Acrobat 2020 (Classic Track)
- Acrobat 17.011.30202 for users with a perpetual license of Acrobat 2017 (Classic Track)
The updates can also be installed using the Acrobat menu Help > Check for Updates….
According to Adobe there are the following new features this time mainly for the Macintosh version:
Enfocus PitStop 2020 Update 1
supports MacOS 11 (Big Sur)
Recently, Enfocus had warned against switching to MacOS 11 (Big Sur) because Enfocus PitStop 2020 was not compatible with the new Apple operating system.
The just released Enfocus PitStop 2020 Pro Update 1 as well as Enfocus PitStop 2020 Server Update 1 now fix this problem.
However, there are still the following limitations:

Enfocus Software warns PitStop users to switch to MacOS 11 (Big Sur).
Enfocus is testing this operating system and has found some compatibility issues with PitStop Pro and Server. It is therefore recommended that all PitStop users do NOT upgrade to this operating system when it is released. Enfocus is currently working on an update for PitStop 2020 that will provide support for MacOS 11 Big Sur.
UPDATE: Enfocus PitStop 2020 Update 1 supports MacOS 11 (Big Sur).
