- Acrobat 15.006.30523 for users with a perpetual license of Acrobat 2015 (Classic Track)
The updates can also be installed using the Acrobat menu Help > Check for Updates….
For Acrobat 2017 and Acrobat 2015 there are only a few bug fixes. However, for Acrobat DC there are a number of new features and improvements:
Global Graphics has submit its Harlequin RIP for certification of compliancy with the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5 and passed this exam without problems. Instructions for the successful output of Ghent PDF Output Suite 5 were also published.
Enfocus has released version 2020 of PitStop Pro and PitStop Server. As I reported in my pre-announcement, the new version uses Computer Vision technology for image recognition with support of artificial intelligence (AI).
ColorLogic GmbH releases ZePrA 8, an advanced, smart color server that optimizes and automates printing data – now also with Proofing. The outputs from the DeviceLink and Multicolor profiles combined with the sophisticated spot color rendering can now be used for color proofs. This is especially useful as many RIPs do not entirely support CxF/X-4 or SCTV calibration, nor do they have a spectral color prediction model for spot color rendering. The proofing module’s outstanding results were confirmed with a 7 color proof at the recent FOGRA Multicolor Forum 2019.
