CHILI Publish has announced the JavaScript Software Development Kit (SDK) CHILI rendro which can display highend PDFs (including PDF/X and PDF/A) in web browsers using HTML5 (as an image). Overprinting and transparency are rendered correctly. ICC profiles (as source profile or output intent) are also supported.

According to the developer the Ghent PDF Output Suite 4.0 and 5.0 as well as the Altona Technical can displayed without problems. With this technology PDFs can be display correctly even on mobile devices!

There is also an option 3D module available which is interesting for packaging.

Enfocus is using this technology in their new Switch PDF Review Modul.
